Would you rather be rich or famous? Why?

Honestly? I think I'd rather be rich than famous. Both fame and fortune have dark sides, but fame's dark side seems to be much worse. Just look at all of the train wrecks in the news (Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears come to mind). I don't want to be like that. But with money, I could provide for my kids' future and take some really cool trips around the world.

I keep forgetting...

QotD: An Unforgettable Home

What's the most memorable building you've lived in?

Mine also happens to be the first house I ever owned. Shortly before I got married, my wife and I bought a very small house (860 sq. ft. on a 50 ftx x 50 ft. plot of land) in the Grant Park area in downtown Atlanta, GA. The house was an Arts & Crafts-style house that was built ca. 1928. When we moved there, the neighborhood was in the middle of being re-gentrified, so we quite an eclectic mix of neightbors. Unfortunately, it wasn't far enough along when we discovered we were pregnant with our first child, so we ended up moving out to the 'burbs where we felt it was safer and where we could get more house for the money.

In some ways, I still miss that house.
